Every week I tell myself I’m going to stay within budget and every week I find something I just can’t live without. The heart wants what the heart wants. And because I love to help other people spend their money just as much as I love spending mine, I thought I’d share a few of my {current} favorite things. Kiss. Kiss.
- Lululemon Align Pant II – You guys. These rival the LuLaRoe leggings in terms of comfort but in a workout material. And by that I mean, maybe I’ll work out in them or maybe I won’t. I don’t know. Or maybe I’ll continue to eat my children’s Halloween candy until I can no longer fit into anything other than leggings. Either way these have made their way into the daily rotation. ‘Tis the season.
- Sweaters Front Tucked – I’m really digging boxy sweaters tucked into the front of your skinny jeans. It’s little unexpected details like this that make an outfit feel effortless. And we all know I love effortless.

I blame my “glam squad” Sal at the Macy’s Minneapolis location who can take me from tired and ragged to a 24 year old just hitting her prime in a 15 minute drive-by over my lunch break. My “can’t live without” items are as follows: Radiant Creamy Concealer (even the MAC girls use this concealer, says Sal), the Blush in ‘Unlawful’ (it’s the new Orgasm), and the Total Replenishing Eye Cream.
- Michele Silicone Strap Band Watch– Don’t get me wrong, I love my ‘ole faithful Michael Kors ‘Bradshaw’ but I’m madly in love with my this new watch the hubs gave me for our 7 year anniversary. By gave me I mean I took him into the store to pick out a watch for himself and slid this one in at checkout. TWO YEARS! I had struggled with the price tag a bit, but after 2 years I realized I would have FO SHO gotten my money’s worth by now. I live in Minnesota and WINTER IS COMING, so when they had their last 30% off sale I finally pulled the trigger after phoning a few friends to weigh in on the color. SO MANY CHOICES! In the end I went with the classic Heather Dusk. I’m not one to shy away from a pop of color but I kind of loved the simplicity of the gray. It’s a winner. They are all winners.
