Who What Wear For Target Roundup

Let me just preface this by saying I took these pictures between 8 and 9:00 pm so yes, I know I look tired because I am tired. It’s Monday and Monday and I have never gotten along. Deklan is also not a fan of Mondays so we battled it out over bedtime in between outfit changes. You know who wasn’t impressed with my impromptu photo shoot during bedtime? My husband. I’ll admit it was poor timing but THERE’S NEVER ENOUGH TIME! And also, I really needed to get the pictures taken while there was still daylight coming through the bathroom window because I have yet to master the aerial shot where you can capture the full outfit from the neck down, so I have to use my mirrored closet door, which means I need good lighting and my tired face will be in the pictures. Like you would think it wouldn’t be that hard, right? Hold the phone above the shoulders an arm length out with the camera facing you, and snap a pic. Right? Wrong. I’ve tried it from E-V-E-R-Y possible angle my arm can extend to and it always looks the same: bloated belly and the tips of my toes. It reminds me of that scene from the Wizard of Oz where the house falls on the Wicked Witch of the East and all that’s poking out is her feet. It ain’t good.

Anyway, I don’t normally shop for clothes much at Target, BUT I got really excited this weekend over their new-ish Who What Wear line, AND they are currently having a Buy One, Get One 50% Off sale so I couldn’t really resist. I contemplated just posting links to the items, but that’s not nearly as much fun. Besides, no one is paying me to review their product because “the Girl is no one” <Game of Thrones? Anyone? Bueller?> sooooo happy shopping, Ladies!

  1. This Cape Blazer is EVERYTHING! I styled it dressed up for work or dressed down for date night. It’s also available in cream, which is equally as fierce.

Other Outfit Details

Top: White blouse  – BCBG Outlet (old), Joe’s Ex-Lover Boyfriend Jeans (took a lot of convincing from the sales lady that I could pull off the boyfriend jean look, and now I wear them every chance I get. They are insanely comfortable and versatile!), Gingham Mules – Nordstrom Rack

Bottom: Blouse – same as above, JCrew Martie Pant (bonus, on sale now!) Shoes – Zara (old)

2.  Gingham Pencil Skirt  – At first I was all *meh* about the length, but I’m really into b&w gingham right now – not to mention it was super affordable so I went for it. I was actually pleasantly surprised how much I had to go with it once I got her home.

Top: Cardigan – Banana Republic (old),  Holland Heeled Sandal  – Banana Republic

Bottom: Blazer – Gap (old), Silk scarf – vintage from an antique store (best $5 find!), Red Block Heels – BCBG Outlet

3. Sleeveless Midi Shirt Dress I wore this to work today and was impressed with how well the tie stayed in place (sometimes tricky with these type of dresses) and the fabric didn’t wrinkle! It’s sheer, so you need a slip or dress tank under it. It’s also available in black, but this olive color is my new black.

Flower Dangle Earrings – JCrew (these bad boys are gorge, but super heavy!), Bronze Wedges – Lucky Brand (old)

4. Black and White Knit Bardot Dress  – It’s also available in solid black, but I’m a sucker for a stripe.

I linked what I could find online, but not everything I own is new (try convincing my husband of that), so this is as good as you’re going to get with me. Hugs.
