LuLaRoe {Athleisure} Cassie Styled 5 Ways

This is the more laid back version of Cassie. She’s ready for the freakin’ weekend. You know, the kind where your kids come tearing through your bedroom door at quarter to 6 on Saturday morning screaming for Caillou and chocolate chip pancakes like it’s a bed and breakfast and they are paying customers. By 11 you’ve already allowed them more screen time than the experts recommend in any given day, ate the leftover chocolate chip pancakes you were saving for tomorrow’s breakfast, played outside in your pajamas, put at least one (if not both) kids in timeout, and had the same cup of coffee microwaved three times. Time to get out of the house.

This fun feathered Cassie Pencil Skirt is courtesy of LuLaRoe Consultant Grace Anderson. Size XS for reference.

LuLaRoe Carly Styled 5 Ways #LuLaRoeCassie #LuLaRoe #MomBlogger #AthleisureCardigan: Gap – old, same style here in a variety of colors or similar color here

Tank: Target (I’m one of the annoying “it’s pumpkin spice latte season!” kind of people, so I adore this tee. I also love this “Don’t Be A Basic Witch” one.)

Sneakers: Adidas ‘Stan Smith’ (you’ve met)

Lips: MAC Amorous

Sneakers: Adidas ‘Stan Smith’

These last few looks are for a meeting heavy Friday at the office followed by an extended happy hour with co-workers. Or a Saturday night on the town sans kids. Either way pour Cassie a tall glass of vino and call it a week!

Quilted Vest: JCrew (this color is old but they have lots of other fun ones in the same style!) or similar color from JCrew Factory for under $50!

Bodysuit: Zara (it’s more of a cotton t-shirt material than a lycra so it’s comfortable and stays tucked in tight, which is the whole point of a bodysuit. Also comes in grey.)

Arm stack: Michael Kors ‘Bradshaw’ Watch (on sale for $200!) and Michael Kors Double Wrap Chain Link Bracelet – old, similar here.

Speaking of throwing in the towel for the week…Deklan requested pizza for dinner on the way home from school last night so we put in a frozen pizza because it was Friday and I don’t cook on Fridays. He excitedly ran over to the table when we told him it was ready, took one look at it and immediately melted down because he didn’t want that kind of pizza, he wanted the other kind of pizza, only it’s the same pizza we have every time so I don’t even know what “other kind” he’s referring to. Meanwhile, Carter was 35 minutes into a full blown tantrum where he ran aimlessly from room to room screaming and throwing himself on the floor because we took away Elmo on the phone after the boys wouldn’t stop fighting over who got to hold it. On second thought, hold the vino and pass me the vodka.

Cheers, Mamas!

  1. Yay for the weekend Cassie! I wore one this weekend too with sneakers. Have you tried Toms sneakers? I like since I don’t have to tie shoelaces, another thing I don’t like to do for my weekend. Ha!

    1. Yes, I love it with sneakers! I do have 2 pairs of Toms but I honestly haven’t worn them in a while. I kind of forgot about them after I got the Stan Smiths, to be honest. LOL. I love their cause though and I’m really into their wedge booties. I think you could throw on a pair of leggings or thick tights under the Cassie and add some slouchy wool socks and the booties for a fall/winter look!

  2. LOVE these outfits! I’ve red various recommendations about sizing down 1/2 to 1 size on the stan smiths; how did the sizing work for you?

  3. You may already know this, but I was convinced to get the Cassie when I saw it could double as a strapless top (which I throw a cardigan over, because I’m not that scandalous) and triple as a scarf (love that look) – a three-for-one!!! I was so sold.

    1. Yes, I have seen it worn both of those ways! I’ve only tried it as a scarf though, not a strapless top. Thanks for the tips 🙂
